DENTON, Texas (AP)- Riley Dodge accounted for seven touchdowns four passing and three rushing as North Texas rallied Saturday for its first Sun Belt Conference victory this season, 68-49 over Western Kentucky.

The Hilltoppers (0-8, 0-4), in their first year in the Football Bowl Subdivision, saw their losing streak reach 16 games.

North Texas (2-6, 1-4), which topped its previous record of 62 points against Navy in 2007, trailed by two touchdowns in the second quarter and 35-28 at halftime.

Dodge put North Texas ahead to stay, 56-49, with his third rushing touchdown, from 11 yards out with 12 minutes, 33 seconds to play. He ran 15 times for 70 yards and completed 24 of 30 passes for 262 yards. Lance Dunbar ran 23 times for 227 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown.

Until Saturday, Western Kentucky hadn't scored more than 24 points in any game this season.
